The in-house restaurant of The Clarence Hotel (also known as "U2's hotel") is a favourite spot for slightly-special brunch occasions. The interior is swish and the menu takes an interesting slant on traditional brunch staples. It's a little pricier than most of the other options in the neighborhood but worth it.

4. BEEF & LOBSTER

WHERE: 39-40 Parliament Street, Dublin 2 | 2 minutes walk from the apartment | WHAT: Steakhouse & Shellfish | €€ | TIMES: 12pm-4pm, Saturday and Sunday | RESERVATIONS: Can book a table online here | WEBSITE: beefandlobster.ie

Not perhaps what you'd usually consider for brunch but Beef and Lobster's weekend brunch has a dedicated following in Dublin. Aside from steaks and lobster, there's a lot more to choose from on the menu, including brunch staples like eggs benedict. It can be loud at times (perhaps due to the bottomless cocktails offer) so it isn't for everyone.
