Merrion Square Park is one of Dublin's finest Georgian garden parks, with Merrion Square - one of Dublin's finest and most intact Georgian squares - surrounding it. Within the park itself, you'll find a sculpture trail and the playground. The playground is one of the best in Dublin. It's based on the Oscar Wilde story The Selfish Giant.
