Nice coffee as well as a big selection of hot chocolate drinks (everything from praline hot chocolate to chilli hot chocolate), and milk shakes too. Also, selection of cakes and pastries, but the real attraction are the Butlers chocolates, which you can buy in boxes or individually. You get a free one with your coffee!

IL VALENTINO CAFE & BAKERY

WHERE: Cow's Lane, Temple Bar, D08F959 | 2 minute walk from the apartment | TIMES: 8am-6pm, Monday to Sunday | BEST FOR: Pastries and cakes

Known for its pastries, cakes and sweet treats, in particular, but Il Valentino also does scones, sandwiches and salads. The coffee is fairly good too.
