Excellent option for breakfast, lunch, dinner or anything in between, Brother Hubbard is hugely popular among Dubliners and for good reason - the food is fantastic and there is a really nice atmosphere. It's good value, too. More recently, more tourists are finding their way to Capel Street (especially since it was named in the list of the coolest streets in the world a couple of years ago by Time Out) but it's still authentic Dublin.

Whether you want breakfast, lunch, dinner, something in between it all or just a coffee, Keogh's is a great option. It's a hugely popular cafe among locals and tourists alike - always buzzing with shoppers, office workers and students from nearby Trinity College. It's also one of the earliest-opening cafes in the city centre - opening at 6.30am every morning except for Sundays (when it opens at 8.30am).
